Arunima Sinha — Scaling the Everest against all odds

On 21st May, 2013, Arunima Sinha became the first woman amputee to climb Mount Everest. Arunima’s story is one of extraordinary courage and determination. Two years back, Arunima had lost her left leg, when she was thrown off a train while trying to resist a chain snatcher. She was a national volleyball player and for a sportsperson such an ordeal is even more painful. But Arunima has proved that she is a woman of valour and has not allowed her handicap to come in the way of achieving her glorious dream.

At WEBO Power, we applaud the courage and spirit of Arunima. Read more about this inspiring young woman.
